Ashlar Painting & Building Services is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Being involved in the painting service industry for the past 25 years we are well informed in the products and techniques needed to provide and help our clients protect and enhance their investments and assets. We are proud to serve our local clients in the beautiful Creston Valley located in the Kootenay region of British Columbia.

We are a smaller painting company (by choice) and so do typically have a bit of a waiting list. To say that we do try to maintain some flexibility in the schedule for regular clients and smaller "emergency" jobs.

In 1997 I attended BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) in the field of civil & structural engineering and between the years of 1994-1998 worked on the reconstruction of building envelope systems in the Vancouver area. In 1999 I established Ashlar Painting upon my arrival to Calgary, Alberta and worked primarily on painting high end new homes. 2007 saw me make a move to Tacoma, WA and enjoyed painting homes in the Pacific North West until 2016 at which point I made a move back to Canada to be closer to family.
